These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Secure Armor Glass website, submission of quote requests, scheduling of assessments, and communications with Secure Armor Glass.

By accessing the website, requesting an assessment or quote, or otherwise communicating with us regarding our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.
1. Commercial Services
Secure Armor Glass provides assessments, materials, fabrication, installation, retrofit, maintenance, and related services involving polycarbonate security glazing and other storefront security products.
Our services are intended primarily for commercial properties, including retail stores, offices, gas stations, convenience stores, dispensaries, boutiques, warehouses, and similar business locations.
By requesting services, you represent that:
You are at least 18 years old.
You are acting for a legitimate business or commercial property.
You have authority to request an assessment or work at the identified property.
You will obtain any required approval from the property owner, landlord, property manager, association, insurer, or other responsible party.
2. Website Terms Are Not an Installation Contract
These Terms govern use of the website and preliminary communications. They do not, by themselves, create a contract requiring Secure Armor Glass to provide materials or perform work.
A project becomes binding only after the customer and Secure Armor Glass sign or otherwise accept a written proposal, work order, service agreement, estimate, or other project document describing the applicable:
Scope of work
Materials and panel specifications
Installation method
Price and payment schedule
Estimated schedule
Warranty
Exclusions
Customer responsibilities
Change-order procedures
If a project agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the project agreement will control regarding that project.
Submitting a quote request does not guarantee acceptance, availability, pricing, scheduling, or completion of a project.
3. Estimates and Measurements
Website information, telephone discussions, photographs, customer-provided dimensions, and preliminary estimates are provided for general planning purposes.
Unless expressly identified as a binding proposal, an estimate is not a final offer and may be revised after an on-site assessment or receipt of complete project information.
Final pricing may depend on matters including:
Verified dimensions
Panel thickness and coating
Existing framing and glazing conditions
Required anchors, fasteners, sealants, or reinforcement
Accessibility
Lift or scaffolding requirements
After-hours work
Parking or loading restrictions
Permits and inspections
Travel
Hazardous or concealed conditions
Emergency scheduling
Changes requested by the customer
Customer-provided measurements are used at the customer’s risk unless Secure Armor Glass expressly agrees in writing to manufacture based on those measurements.
4. Nature of Polycarbonate Security Glazing
Polycarbonate panels are glass-substitute materials designed to provide increased impact resistance and forced-entry resistance when compared with conventional storefront glass in appropriate applications.
Polycarbonate is not conventional glass. Depending on the selected product, coating, exposure, installation, cleaning, maintenance, and environmental conditions, polycarbonate may experience:
Scratching or abrasion
Scuffing or impact marks
Expansion and contraction
Optical distortion
Reflection or glare
Haze
Discoloration or yellowing
Coating wear
Edge movement
Sealant deterioration
Cosmetic imperfections
Minor visual variation, reflection, waviness, distortion, fabrication marks, hardware visibility, or changes observable only from particular angles or lighting conditions will not automatically constitute a product or installation defect.
5. No Guarantee Against Crime or Forced Entry
Secure Armor Glass products are intended to resist or delay certain forms of forced entry. They do not eliminate every security risk.
No glazing system, panel, frame, door, lock, fastener, wall, roof, or building component is completely indestructible or guaranteed to prevent:
Unauthorized entry
Burglary
Robbery
Vandalism
Theft
Property damage
Personal injury
Firearm penetration
Attacks of unlimited duration
Attacks using every possible weapon, tool, vehicle, chemical, heat source, or method
Actual performance depends on the complete installed system, including panel type and thickness, existing framing, anchors, fasteners, surrounding construction, doors, locks, walls, installation conditions, maintenance, attack location, tools, force, duration, and method.
An attacker may damage or break existing glass even where a polycarbonate barrier continues to resist entry. Damage to framing, doors, locks, adjacent walls, merchandise, finishes, signs, alarms, or other components may also occur.
Secure Armor Glass does not guarantee that installation will prevent a loss or cause an attacker to abandon an attempted entry.
6. No Ballistic Representation Unless Specifically Stated
Unless a signed project agreement expressly identifies a particular product as having a specific ballistic or bullet-resistant rating, the installed system is sold as a forced-entry or impact-resistant system, not as a bulletproof or ballistic-rated system.
References to pellets, BBs, firearms, bullets, ammunition, weapons, demonstrations, videos, or prior incidents do not create a ballistic warranty.
A ballistic representation applies only when the signed project documents identify:
The exact tested product or system.
Its thickness and configuration.
The applicable testing standard.
The precise rating or protection level.
Installation requirements necessary to maintain that rating.
No product should be described as “bulletproof,” because no reasonable glazing system guarantees protection from every firearm, ammunition type, shot pattern, distance, repeated impact, angle, or site condition.
7. Performance Data, Demonstrations and Testimonials
Photographs, videos, demonstrations, testimonials, prior incidents, testing information, case studies, and before-and-after examples are illustrative.
They do not guarantee identical results at another property. Different products, panel thicknesses, frames, attachment methods, tools, environmental conditions, attack methods, and construction conditions may produce different results.
Any formal product rating applies only to the exact configuration covered by the applicable test report or certification. Modifying the panel, frame, hardware, dimensions, mounting system, or installation method may affect performance.
8. Security Assessments
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a Secure Armor Glass assessment is a limited visual assessment intended to help prepare a proposed scope of work.
An assessment is not:
A structural engineering inspection
An architectural opinion
A complete building-code inspection
A fire or life-safety inspection
A security guarantee
An insurance inspection
A certification that the property is safe
A promise that all vulnerabilities have been discovered
Secure Armor Glass may recommend that the customer consult a licensed architect, engineer, locksmith, alarm specialist, fire-protection professional, security consultant, or other qualified professional.
9. Building Codes, Permits and Approvals
Work will be performed according to the scope stated in the applicable project agreement and subject to applicable laws, codes, permit requirements, manufacturer instructions, and site conditions.
The project agreement must identify which party is responsible for permits, inspections, engineering, drawings, landlord approvals, and other authorizations.
Unless expressly included in writing, pricing does not include:
Permit fees
Engineering
Architectural drawings
Special inspections
Fire-department approval
Historic-building approval
Landlord or shopping-center fees
Work required by government inspectors outside the original scope
Secure Armor Glass may suspend, modify, or decline work that we reasonably believe would be unsafe, unlawful, outside our license classification, incompatible with the existing structure, or inconsistent with applicable manufacturer requirements.
10. Emergency Egress and Life Safety
Security panels must not be used in a manner that unlawfully obstructs required exits, emergency escape routes, fire-department access, ventilation, emergency-release hardware, or other life-safety systems.
The customer must disclose all emergency exits, fire-access requirements, panic hardware, alarm sensors, sprinkler components, security devices, and other systems that may be affected.
Secure Armor Glass may refuse a requested configuration that could interfere with safe or lawful use of the property.
11. Existing Conditions and Concealed Conditions
Secure Armor Glass is not responsible for conditions that could not reasonably be identified during a limited visual assessment, including:
Concealed corrosion
Damaged framing
Loose anchors
Water intrusion
Defective existing glass
Structural movement
Hidden wiring
Alarm components
Asbestos
Lead
Mold
Hazardous materials
Code violations
Improper prior work
Conditions concealed behind walls, trim, frames, seals, flooring, ceilings, or other materials
Discovery of an unforeseen condition may require a written change order, additional charges, a schedule adjustment, involvement of another licensed trade, or suspension of the work.
12. Customer Responsibilities
The customer must:
Provide accurate project and property information.
Provide lawful access to the work area.
Remove or protect merchandise, displays, electronics, valuables, signage, and fragile items.
Identify concealed utilities, alarms, wiring, access-control systems, or hazardous conditions.
Keep customers, employees, animals, and unauthorized individuals away from the work area.
Provide appropriate parking, loading, electricity, and building access when reasonably required.
Obtain property-owner and landlord authorization.
Notify Secure Armor Glass of applicable building restrictions and operating-hour limitations.
Maintain insurance appropriate for the property, inventory, operations, and security risks.
Secure Armor Glass is not an insurer and does not replace commercial property, theft, business interruption, casualty, or liability insurance.
13. Scheduling and Delays
Dates and lead times are estimates unless the project agreement expressly states otherwise.
Scheduling may be affected by custom fabrication, material availability, weather, property access, permit processing, government inspections, customer changes, concealed conditions, shipping delays, labor availability, emergencies, acts of vandalism, or events outside our reasonable control.
Secure Armor Glass does not guarantee “zero downtime.” We may plan work to minimize disruption, but temporary access restrictions, noise, dust, vibration, blocked display areas, reduced visibility, or interruption of normal operations may occur.
14. Custom-Fabricated Materials and Cancellations
Many polycarbonate panels and related components are measured, ordered, coated, cut, drilled, or fabricated for a specific property.
Once custom materials have been ordered or fabrication has begun, they may not be cancelable, returnable, reusable, or refundable.
Any cancellation charge or deposit retention will be determined by the applicable project agreement, actual committed costs, completed labor, custom materials, restocking charges, and applicable law.
15. Changes to the Work
Changes to an accepted project must be documented in writing.
A change order should describe:
The requested change
Added or removed work
Price adjustment
Schedule adjustment
Additional materials
Effect on warranties or performance
Secure Armor Glass is not required to perform extra work based solely on an oral request.
16. Inspection and Completion
The customer should inspect the work promptly upon substantial completion and notify Secure Armor Glass in writing of any visible concern.
Payment, use of the installed system, reopening the affected area, or failure to report a readily visible issue within the period stated in the project agreement may be treated as acceptance of visibly completed work, without waiving rights that cannot legally be waived or legitimate latent-defect and warranty claims.
17. Limited Warranty
Unless a different warranty is stated in the signed project agreement, Secure Armor Glass provides a limited workmanship warranty based on mutual agreement from substantial completion.
During that agreement period, Secure Armor Glass will, at its option, repair or correct installation work shown to have materially failed because of defective workmanship.
Manufacturer warranties, when available, are provided subject to the manufacturer’s terms, limitations, exclusions, claim procedures, and continued availability. Secure Armor Glass does not expand or independently guarantee a manufacturer’s warranty.
The limited warranty does not cover:
Criminal acts or attempted break-ins
Vandalism or intentional damage
Impact marks or cosmetic damage
Scratches or abrasion
Improper cleaning
Chemical damage
Fire, heat, smoke, flood, earthquake, wind, or weather damage
Building or frame movement
Corrosion
Water intrusion unrelated to our work
Failure of existing frames, glass, doors, locks, walls, or hardware
Work altered by another person
Unauthorized drilling, cutting, painting, tinting, coating, or modification
Failure to follow maintenance instructions
Ordinary wear
Damage outside the agreed scope
The customer must provide reasonable access for inspection and warranty work.
18. Cleaning and Maintenance
Customers must follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions provided for the selected product.
Unless approved by the manufacturer, customers should not use abrasive pads, scrapers, razor blades, ammonia-heavy cleaners, gasoline, acetone, harsh solvents, incompatible adhesives, or other substances that may damage polycarbonate or its coating.
Damage caused by improper cleaning or maintenance is not covered by the workmanship warranty.
19. Payment
Deposits, progress payments, final payments, taxes, finance charges, accepted payment methods, and due dates will be stated in the project agreement.
Overdue amounts may accrue interest at the lower of:
1.5% per month; or
The maximum amount permitted by applicable law.
The customer may also be responsible for reasonable collection costs to the extent permitted by law and the applicable project agreement.
Nothing in these Terms waives any lawful payment remedy, bond right, stop-notice right, or mechanics-lien right.
20. Disclaimer of Additional Warranties
Except for warranties expressly stated in a signed project agreement, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Secure Armor Glass disclaims additional express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, duty, remedy, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
No employee, installer, salesperson, representative, subcontractor, website statement, text message, photograph, video, or oral statement may create an additional warranty unless included in a written agreement authorized by Secure Armor Glass.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Secure Armor Glass will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including:
Lost profits
Lost revenue
Loss of inventory
Loss of business opportunity
Business interruption
Loss caused by burglary or vandalism
Reputational harm
Loss of electronic data
Loss of use of the property
Except for liability that cannot legally be limited, Secure Armor Glass’s total liability arising from a particular project will not exceed the amount actually paid to Secure Armor Glass for the portion of the project giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply to Secure Armor Glass’s fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that California law prohibits the parties from limiting.
22. Third-Party Criminal Conduct
Criminal activity is inherently unpredictable. Secure Armor Glass is not responsible for the intentional, reckless, negligent, or criminal acts of third parties merely because a security product was installed at the property.
Nothing in this section excuses Secure Armor Glass from responsibility for its own conduct where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Website Content
Website content is provided for general informational and marketing purposes.
Secure Armor Glass may modify product descriptions, service areas, availability, photographs, specifications, and website content without notice. Product appearance and specifications may change due to supplier or manufacturer updates.
The website may contain typographical, technical, pricing, photographic, or descriptive errors. Secure Armor Glass may correct such errors without being obligated to honor clearly incorrect information.
24. Intellectual Property
The Secure Armor Glass name, logo, website design, text, graphics, photographs, videos, illustrations, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Secure Armor Glass and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Users may not reproduce, republish, modify, scrape, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit website content without prior written authorization.
25. Acceptable Website Use
You may not use the website to:
Submit false or fraudulent information
Impersonate another person or business
Interfere with website security
Upload malicious software
Attempt unauthorized access
Harvest contact information
Submit unlawful, threatening, or abusive content
Reverse engineer or disrupt website functionality
We may restrict access or disregard inquiries involving suspected misuse.
26. Communications
By providing an email address or telephone number, you authorize Secure Armor Glass to contact you regarding your assessment, quote request, appointment, project, or related inquiry.
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically authorize unrelated recurring promotional text messages. Marketing communications requiring separate consent will be handled through a separate consent mechanism where applicable.
Message and data rates may apply to text communications.
27. Privacy
Collection and use of personal information are governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Customers should not submit sensitive information, payment-card details, alarm codes, access credentials, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary confidential information through a general website inquiry form.
28. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless the parties agree otherwise in a signed project agreement, any judicial proceeding arising from these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.
Before filing a lawsuit, the parties agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute through written notice and informal discussions for at least 30 days, except where immediate injunctive or emergency relief is reasonably necessary.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a person from contacting the Contractors State License Board, another government agency, an insurer, or law enforcement.
29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain effective.
30. No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.
31. Assignment
Users may not assign their rights under these Terms without our written consent.
Secure Armor Glass may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of business operations, subject to applicable law.
32. Changes to These Terms
Secure Armor Glass may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date shown at the top will identify the most recent revision.
Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively modify an already signed project agreement unless both parties agree in writing.
